My business philosophy is “make it happen”, keep yourself and those around you educated, stay ahead of the curve. My father has always told me “nobody makes a living sitting on their rear end except for a shoe maker. Are you a shoemaker?” I feel that it is important to stay active in your business and be on top of every aspect. That is why my hands are in everything from the buy to the bill out to the tax returns and everything in between. You don’t have to micromanage, but you must always know what is happening in every department.

I also believe in staying educated so that you can keep your business ahead of the curve and on the cutting edge. VIADA is extremely helpful in keeping us educated to the new laws so we can service our customers legally. We are currently sending all of our mangers and salesmen through the dealer/operator course for educational purposes. It is important for everyone to understand the proper way to conduct business and the consequences of not following procedure. We like to try all kinds of new advertising to stay on the cutting edge. Trying all types of different internet advertising has sometimes cost us money, but overall has kept us successful and profitable in a competitive market.
